This is one of my favourite small stillwaters to fish, sometimes a hard day but always a great day. Plenty of doubles and browns, all hard fighting and matched with the managers commitment, help and tips. 100% brilliant.

A superb fishery with a lots of hard fighting fish. The regulars and Stevie are very helpful, encourage and help young and new anglers. Great blast to fish and a great bunch of guys. A great day out on a superb water.

Great fishery, hard fighting fish. Stevie and his mum welcome you, they run a tackle shop everything u need you will get it in there. The place is clean was there on saturday, 4 to the fly from 3lb to 9lb.

Brilliant fishery, always a friendly atmosphere when up here. Beat my personal best trout in my last 2 visits all through help & advice from other anglers & Stevie. Gets my vote for best fishery anywhere close to me!

Stevie got me hooked on fly fishing around a year ago converting from bait fishing and the help he has given me along with other regulars has been great. The fish are always hard fighting and the shop is also great for all your tackle needs. Great venue, great host and great anglers who fish it. 5 stars, can’t recommend Newhouse highly enough.

Well stocked with hard fighting, peak condition trout. Very helpful staff and a well stocked tackle shop. Highly recomended. 🙂
